Another Era

This picture of Robert Higgins with his grandfather Frank J. Higgins shows what has changed in 80 years. I'm guessing this was taken about 1929. Frank had an operation and one of these horses got so upset that she laid down and died before Frank could get up and around to the barn. Robert looks like he was about 8 or so. This is one of my favorite pictures and I wanted to post it while we wait for the end of Robert's life. In memory of Robert Melvin Higgins, April 1922 to February 2009. Loving father, grandfather, and friend of the fatherless. We will always remember you.

So, I'm not sure if you will see this or not since these posts are from several years ago...

But, I did Google search to find Randy & Jennie Higgins because they were wonderful friends from when I was a summer missionary in 1994.

So, if you get this... please come to my blog and find me!
